Seat Bookings at http://www.bluewirelan.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1233

Whoever left an Eltham College backpack at the last event should contact a member of the admin team sometime soon to get it back.

September 24th to 26th

Same venue, good times to be had.

With over 5 years of running events under our belt we have a 32Gb backbone on a full gig network.

Friday Night - Social Night
Lasers, Lighting and Smoke Machines in the front room with DJ's playing sets.

Saturday night will be more game-focused, any ideas for fresh new LAN capable games are welcome. At the time of writing, the market is a little dry, with Blur, Alien Swarm, War3 and Red Faction (Which is losing its favour) being the games primarily played.
We will give out prizes if we get them, but expect a bunch of games to be played.

Time: 6:32pm Friday 24th of September to 2:32pm Sunday 26th of September.

Venue:
46, Main Hurstbridge rd.
Diamond Creek.
VIC
3089

Entry is via the service road off Brooks Cr.

Cost: $25 Flat rate for the whole weekend, Spectators staying for extended periods may be subject to a fee as well.

There is a basic internet connection to allow steam validation and logons. However most other activity is blocked so that the connection remains up and stable.

What to bring:

1. A good friendly attitude
2. Your PC (tower, monitor, keyboard, mouse)
3. Headphones. Speakers are strictly forbidden.
4. 4+ port Power Board, and ALL the power cables you will need for your monitor and tower.
5. Network cable. 5 metres will do in most cases, if you can get a 7 or 10 meter one, it's always the best option just in case you get a seat some distance from the switch.
7. Food/Drinks or Money for food/drinks over the course of the weekend. Coles, IGA, Bakers delight, and numerous fast food shops are within 100m of the hall.
8. A blanket/pillows and other stuff to sleep on/in.

Optional: If you have space in the car, you can bring a suitable chair (office chair etc) to make your weekend more comfortable, chairs are supplied, but they are basic plastic ones. Remember, be reasonable. If your chair is too big, or you think we will say it's too big, don't expect to have us allow it in, as it will irritate other players.
